We hope all is well with you and that you warming up ready to have a great summer ahead!
Just a quick email to say "Hi" and let you know what we will be up to this month.
Before that though we would just like to catch you up on the Iris global missions school which we have now finished here in Fortaleza. It was an amazing time and all the students left more in love with Jesus and more secure in their identity and excited about their future destiny. I believe the full fruit of the school will only be seen in the years to come as the graduate missionaries go out to the mission field, laying their lives down whilst putting into action what they have learned from the school. This is the heart and purpose of the school; to multiply workers for the harvest fields which are ripe and plentiful and ready for harvest.
Anyway back to this month...... Tomorrow we will be going as a family to visit my parents in England. They have very kindly helped pay for the trip and whilst we are in England we will be celebrating my father's 80th birthday. His Parkinson's disease continues to pose significant difficulties and makes his walking very difficult. My mother does incredibly well to look after him so well. As we will be in England for only 2 weeks we unfortunately will not be able to travel and visit friends and supporters as we would like, as we want to make the most of this opportunity with mum and dad and my sister. The children are very much looking forward to spending time with their grandparents.
We are able to stay only a short time in England as a couple of days after we get back I will head off the Mozambique in Africa for the Iris Global family gathering. It will be a time where all the base leaders come together to pray, strategize, receive training and have fun. Rolland and Heidi Baker alongside Bill Johnson will be leading these sessions. Iris Fortaleza has found much favour and I have heard that it is often pointed to in Iris global as a 'model' base that they want to copy and multiply as they expand in other nations which is encouraging.
Please be with us in prayer for our time in England as a family and for my trip to Africa!
We are so thankful and privileged to have you with us on this journey.
Thank you for your prayers and kindness that makes all this possible.
Much love and many Blessings Andrew, Claudia, Jessica, Ana Keziah and Noah
